| Privacy Policy
This policy has been designed to ensure that psquared is in accordance with the 1998 Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. Collection Practices * Types of information collected - No personal information like a child's name, home address, email address, and phone number are collected in the registration area of the site. The types of information Psquared.org collects in its registration area is whether a person is a male or female, how old a person is, what city they live in, what state they live in, what their favorite web site is, and how they found out about Psquared.org. The questions are designed to better understand some characteristics of the users of the site while maintaining their confidentiality. * Exceptions - In certain sections of the site, an email address is required to better insure the safety of all users of the site. In the bulletin board area of the site (an optional area), an email address is a required field to register, but you have the option for others to not see your email address when posting messages. That information is needed so that if inappropriate material is posted, Psquared.org can identify the person posting it. To send an electronic greeting card, email address is also a required field. This also protects people against messages that could be considered inappropriate. Email addresses are also asked for (with parental permission for those under 18) for our electronic newsletter. * How the information collected is used - Information collected helps Psquared.org develop new activities geared towards a particular age group. Information collected is also used for evaluation purposes and the compilation of that information (not individual records) are shared with our funders. * Information given to third parties - Other than for evaluation purposes, Psquared.org will not share any information collected with a third party. * Contact at the site - If you have any questions regarding the site and its privacy policy, please contact Joe Calabrese at 716-288-2800 ext. 26.
